- Week 3: Exploring optical and conceptual contrast, and composing with value
- Week 4: The role of edges, compression in design, and its importance
- Week 5: A painting process walkthrough, expanding to four values with color
- Week 6: The interplay of color, light, materials, and reflections—painting is all about reflections!
- Week 7: Continuing with color and materials, focusing on the relationship between color and value
- Week 8: Understanding style and its connection to the fundamentals, culminating in a final demonstration
