Form From Imagination

A Course On Mastering Imaginative Form By Steven Zapata

Access The Power of Form
An intuitive understanding of form is the most valuable drawing skill. It informs your choices on all other aspects of drafting - lines, gesture, color, everything! This is true even if you're working from reference. Whether you are designing characters for a game or painting a tree from life, you are always grappling with form in your mind.

Hello, I recently registered on this site and clicked "Joined" under the "Purchase stage: Participants sign-up" section. However, I have no idea how to work here, what I'll have to do, how to pay, or how I'll acquire this course.

Could you please explain how it functions?

I've already signed up for this course to buy here, but I just have a question. I just want to know whether you can tell that I'm not very good at sketching, especially human features and face/figures. Will this course be helpful to me considering my lack of sketching ability? normally I watch "Steven Zapata" videos on youtube. I love his work that's why I joined here to buy and learn with you all.

This course teaches all the fundamentals in a very indept way, so to answer your question, yes, this course helps with sketching and every other step of the process

From what I can see on the site page, the course is focused on designing and rendering forms. If you buy this course to improve specifically your ability to draw human figure, you may note learn much about anatomy or gesture, but the skills previously mentionned are essential to master, especially design, and will benefit you greatly no matter what subject you draw.

OK so I want to draw better, I am going to buy this course with a group, what should I do to learn to draw?

Simply follow the assignments of the course aka the homework consistently with effort and you'll improve your sketching abilities. Steven emphasizes personal projects on his youtube too so make sure you use what you learn to draw the stuff you find to be cool.
