Hello, I am Jeon Jin-gyu, an independent animation director.
I
received a bachelor's degree in animation from Korea National University of Arts and a master's degree in animation from Tokyo University of the Arts. I have received awards and nominations at 60 festivals, including
prestigious and famous international film festivals in 28 overseas countries . In particular, working as a head animator at a 2D animation production studio, I continued to think about the image language that only animation can do through my practical work as well as the experience of producing three independent animations . Currently, I am participating as a mentor in a creative talent partnership project that guides talented individuals who wish to become animation directors with their own style , and through this class , I plan to provide guidance so that anyone can stand up as an independent artist .
