How to Organize and Format the Group Buy Forum Thread

⚠️ Before proceeding, please ensure you have read and familiarized yourself with the "Group-Buy-Club" (GBC) Rules and Policies, particularly the 3rd paragraph!!! ⚠️

(**Please note that "GBC" is currently in the development phase, so certain procedures may undergo changes. At present, all operations will be manually performed until automation is implemented.**)

1. Title or Header

  1. The title is formatted according to the following template: [Prefix] - product name - author(s) - specifications (repeat, stream, package, proficiency level, etc.). Example: Best Blender Course - John Smith - Intermediate Level
  2. The product name should match the title used on the sales website.
  3. Full names and company names related to the authorship of the info product should be provided in their entirety without abbreviations.
  4. If a product has multiple authors or if the names take up a significant portion of the title, it is permissible to abbreviate them to initials.
  5. Additional information (version, level, part, year) should be included if necessary for clarification.
  6. If 1/3 or more of the group buy content is already present in other topics, it is mandatory to include the [Repeat] prefix.
Exceptions to this rule are as follows:
  1. Qualitatively updated versions of info products:
    • If the content has undergone significant changes or improvements.
    • When there is a new instructor or additional co-authors involved.
    • When fresh dates for online broadcasts are provided.
    • If there have been modifications to the course curriculum, as indicated in the description.
  2. Access to services or subscriptions:
    1. This applies when there is no overlap in the access period with the previous group buys.
    2. In such cases, it is essential to specify the duration of the joint purchase period.

2. Description of the course

  1. The description should follow the following template: title(s) of the info product(s) - main text with illustrations - link to the sales website.
Example of a well-formatted description: [Coloso] The 60-Chapter Anime-Style Character Illustration Class [Illustrator Ekina, Aibek, Myowa, GongHa]
  2. The description must begin with a text duplicating the title and author(s). If the bundle consists of multiple info products, all of them should be listed.
  3. The main text is a combination of key benefits, a content list (modules, lessons), and information about the author. It is allowed to supplement the text with screenshots, images, and YouTube videos.
  4. If the product involves updates, the organizer must specify the date until which they plan to support the bundle.
  5. If there is any foreign language text, it should be translated into English.
  6. If you have your own comments and additions, they should be highlighted in italics or a different font, and write that it's your personal comment.
  7. If an illustration takes up more than one screen, it should be resized to a thumbnail.
  8. If the info product exists in different configurations, the components for which the collection is being made in this thread (package, version, stream, modules, etc.) should be indicated.
  9. At the end of the bundle description, the link to the sales page (landing page) or the author's sales post on a social network should be provided.
  10. In the designated field, please provide a BB code for your Group Buy Group (GBG), where you can seamlessly add participants, engage in conversations, and share the content.
  11. The link to the sales website or post should be free of UTM tags.

3. Pricing

  1. The pricing of the info product has to be indicated in US dollars, presented without any spaces, dots, or commas, aligning precisely with the listed price on the sales website.
    1. It is required to specify the individual pricing per person.
  2. If the product is being sold in a different currency, the cost is stated based on the exchange rate at the time of GB creation and may be adjusted at the end of a GB.

4. Prohibited

  1. Creating a description for a group buy solely based on screenshots from the sales website.
  2. Using title words consisting exclusively of capital letters. If they are present in the original product name, they need to be corrected.
  3. Using emotional appeals ("urgent," "important," etc.).
  4. Placing an affiliate link to the sales website.
  5. Splitting the product into multiple GB if the author does not provide the option to purchase individual parts. The availability of installment payments or monthly subscriptions is not a justification for fragmentation.
  6. Intentionally undervaluing the product with the intention of assigning it to an organization.
  7. Creating a duplicate GB before the previous one has been marked as "Closed."
  8. Modifying the configuration (package, plan, version) and format within an already opened group buy.
