Hi to everyone and the beloved admins. Please, hope this inquisition doesn't offend but wanted to find out if there'll be new courses posted on the main website or has that been discontinued for good?

The last actual course update on there was Oct.16 so wanted knowing if all focus has now been shifted here.

If so, definitely wouldn't be an issue for a lot of courses here already been uploaded and y'all did a splendid job by making the file size manageable - that's just what set onlinecourseclub apart from the rest cause still wonder how y'all pulled that off lol

Anyhoo, just wanted to leave this out here and also a huge thanks for being an integral part of my 3D career 🙏

Hello there!

Thanks for your comment! I'm really happy that OCC and GBC have helped you grow professionally as an artist. Rest assured, neither OCC nor GBC will stop developing. Yes, we've reduced activity on both sites because I'm currently focused on integrating a translation system for 14 or 16 languages for all courses available on OCC, as well as giving GBC users the ability to study uploaded courses in their native language. We're also working hard on creating audio-dubbed versions of courses on both OCC and GBC

The challenge is that most of the work for OCC requires my manual effort. The project was created about 8 years ago with different software, and a lot has changed since then. Now everything can be done better, more automated, and more feature rich. But at the moment, I have to manually process courses, create archives, and upload them to the site. I have an assistant who creates articles and course descriptions on OCC, but I still end up spending two to six hours daily on uploading, formatting, and making materials accessible to users. Additionally, the projects require quite a few servers and their administration. The library of courses available on OCC is constantly growing and already exceeds 30Tb. So I also need to spend time administering these 'servers zoo', and since this isn't my main job but a hobby, I have to find extra personal time. After all, I have my main job, family, kids & cats too.

That's why I decided to automate all these operations so they don't take up so much personal time and manual labor. I'm currently developing and modifying the OCC, Mediafile, and GBC platforms for maximum automation. As a result, you can expect that soon the quantity and quality of new course publications will increase/improve, and new features will become available to our users. For example, translation of almost all courses available on both platforms into major languages: Chinese, Spanish, Portuguese, German, French, Japanese, Korean, Vietnamese, Hindi, Arabic, Russian, and many others. All this hype with the development of AI systems and LLMs offers great opportunities for our users to get better quality content from the vast knowledge base that OCC and GBC represent. For ex, annotation, translation, and dubbing. Creation of AI language models that contain all knowledge about a specific course or domain. For example, I'd like to implement a chatbot that you could ask specific questions like: "how to add glass texture in Blender with a light refraction coefficient of 0.7". Many ideas and possibilities are emerging to create such systems

Now I just need to find time to implement all of this!

Reading all of this gave me chills. Literally felt a lot of passion pour out right there. Definitely ain't easy running all of this behind a job and family(pets included). At day's end you're human and please do take all the time you need - what you've provided can't be found elsewhere and having your users in mind this much says a lot

In the meantime, I'll keep digesting the courses available and definitely gonna make sure I give back when the time comes. Excited to see how the new features turn out but until then, do take care and be safe out there 💙

Thank you 🙇‍♂️
