9-Week Course: Integrating 3D Techniques into 2D Concept Artwork Using Blender

Take Your Art to the Next Dimension

In this course, students will learn how to seamlessly integrate easy 3D techniques into their 2D concept artwork using Blender. The course will highlight the power of 3D and explore various techniques to transform 2D skills into dynamic 3D scenes. Students will render multiple scenes while incorporating 3D methods into their concept art workflows.

Initially, the course will focus on essential 3D tools to quickly generate impressive base images, which can then be polished in painting software like Photoshop. As the course progresses, students will tackle more complex organic scenes, ultimately creating a complete environment based on their own 2D drawings or sketches, with multiple shots to convey a narrative.

Additionally, the course will emphasize the importance of understanding 2D composition and color in professional 3D workflows. While Blender will be used for the 3D techniques, the skills and workflows taught can be adapted for other 3D software packages.

A rather antiquated way to create such concepts now with the advent of Ai.
First off, yeah, totally get what you're saying about ai making some traditional methods feel a bit old school. But honestly, having those solid fundamentals is still super important even when you're using ai tools for concept art. it gives you a better grasp on how to tweak and enhance ai-generated stuff to really make it your own.

If the GB is in the "Distribution" stage, it means the content is ready but needs some time for final adjustments and distribution.

But seriously, I've started this thread 3 days ago. i know the wait can feel really long but looking at the weston reid thread makes it seem like you're actually in a pretty good spot here compraed to what others have gone through. :ROFLMAO:

Hang in there, it's just a few more days for you it could be so much worse.
