This is one of the most exciting phases, beginning with a blank canvas in Clip Studio Paint. A key takeaway from this part of the course is learning how to approach and structure the design process for a 3D character.

Bringing Your 2D Designs into a Fully Modeled 3D Avatar

Here, our focus is on faithfully translating your 2D character into 3D. From building the mesh to texturing, blendshapes, and rigging, you’ll work through the full production pipeline with detailed guidance. Although some parts of the workflow—like modeling and rigging - can be repetitive, mastering these fundamentals ensures your final 3D avatar stays true to your character’s personality and visual identity.
