Question about purchasing a course

If I purchase course, do I need to download and use a new player, and is it unusable without internet?

After purchasing the course, you will have to download the player and the course. After authorizing your player on the device, you will have offline access to the course.

I think there should bea notice in each course publication about the player used. People should be warned that they will not have free access to the course and the various limitations that this player presents. This shows transparency and honesty. just my opinion.
