Would it be possible or feasible for each course to have a deadline for people to join and pay for it? For example, 1 month from the date a GB is created so that people can join at the estimated contribution price and, after that period, the course is made available to everyone? And for those who want to join later, pay the double fee? And, of course, make it clear where the extra money is going.
Because it seems that the courses are mostly being downloaded and organized by a maximum of 2-3 people (the administrators and someone else, perhaps?), making the waiting time for a course to be delivered so long that sometimes it might not be worth it for people to join the GB (sometimes people can be impatient and prefer to organize a private group buy with friends, for example).
One of the most famous courses, Gatan's, was delivered in 1 month (a great timeframe!), but for other courses, people have been waiting for over 1 month to receive them (it seems after the goal is reached), and it's not clear who has paid and who hasn't, because despite having a progress bar showing how the payment is going, people who haven't paid are being notified so that there aren't any further delays?
I'd like to know more about how the GBC admins are dealing with these issues and how we can help as a community, such as helping downloading or organize all the files. Thank you
