Greetings, everyone!

It brings me great joy to witness the participation of so many individuals in the competition. I sincerely hope that more engaging events will be organized on this platform in the future. Apologies for the delay (Very Busy😅). Without further ado, we are delighted to unveil the winners of the contest.

Our community's assistance was invaluable in selecting the winners.

3-month Mediafile premium + 50 GBC Credits

Yussi has masterfully crafted a captivating piece of art featuring an elegant lady. The technique employed is impeccably refined, allowing for a truly immersive experience. The utilization of a soft color palette adds to the artwork's allure, creating a truly delightful visual spectacle that I thoroughly enjoyed.

🥈Yuusi663 with his/her Anime portrait

1-month Mediafile premium + 25 GBC Credits

Yuusi663 has skillfully produced a serene and tranquil depiction of a young lady. The adept use of colors, lighting, and technique is so harmoniously balanced that the artwork emanates a professional and polished essence. The meticulous selection of color tones and the artful play of lighting contribute to the overall sense of calm and peace that the artwork exudes. The choice of clothing for the young lady is also noteworthy, adding to the authenticity and visual appeal of the piece. Personally, this masterpiece stands out as one of my favorites, capturing a sense of peaceful beauty that truly resonates.

🥉MaxMeyed123 with his/her Bunny

1-week Mediafile premium + 10 GBC Credits

MaxMeyed123's artwork shines as one of the most adorable pieces in the competition. The technique used to depict the bunny is well-chosen. The soft yellow tones create a warm and cozy feel. The precise pencil work for shadows and lighting adds to this warmth. Excellent job!

Guys, we have raised concerns regarding the initial two artworks 🤔. Both submissions have originated from accounts registered with the same email address. As a result, we have decided to disqualify the individual responsible from the competition.

Isn't the snowbunny an orginal 3D work by Wandah Kurniawan in Coloso????

Hey, congratulations for deserving winners but may I ask about the process on verifying whether they are really the artist? no salt, but just to keep the integrity of community contests like this. I think it is important for the growth of community we establish trust and we are not simply awarding people who download pictures from real artists.

Hey @owl I wonder, how do I claim the mediafile premium?
Hello there! Thank you for your question. I attempted to locate your account on mediafile yesterday, but unfortunately, I was unable to find it. Would you kindly direct message me with your nickname or email address so I can better assist you? Thank you!

... may I ask about the process on verifying whether they are really the artist? ...
very good question! I feel like it could be a good idea to make it mandatory to upload process shots / timelapse / layers to show the validity of the artwork.

Then again there are vigilant members here to point it out if someone is stealing images.

Do you have any other ideas in mind?

This is a really good suggestion. For 2D artwork convincing proof of creation process and for 3d artwork may be clay renders etc.

The original concept is by OKKU, and even though Wandah made a course using this concept, it has been around on Artstation for 2+ years now (before this course existed). So, it's not an original 3D work as he didn't make this concept himself.

I can provide evidence of every step I've taken to achieve this sculpted piece, including images from the blockout, videos, render process and more.
Sorry if there has been any confusion or anything, but if you guys want me to prove with images of some my other works to see what I can do, I'll be more than happy to show you all :)

I know that the reference used was by Okku, but why did you do that one tho? It looks just like Wandah Kurniawans 3D model for 3D print. There is almost no difference that it is super suspicious, not a single iteration something a student unavoidably do. But the main point is you could have atleast made a model from other reference.

Anyways, where can I see your other works, do you have a social media where you post your art projects? i would love to see it.

P.S. I don't mean to be very suspicious. I myself am a newbie in zbrush and the course by Wandah Kurniawan intrigued me cuz I want to do anime models for 3d print, and there are only few artists that show how they model anime figures or resin statues in youtube or any other social media.

No problem at all, I understand that it can be seen as "suspiscious" (kinda a rude thing to say, but I do understand you lol), but in Owl's post for the Art Competition, he specifically mentioned that we could submit our "best artwork," not necessarily our "best original artwork." As you may know, most of the time 3D artists deal with existing fan arts and concepts rather than creating one themselves, especially if they're not applying for a job at a studio or something (and even then, it's not always a requirement to do so).

If we were to submit an original artwork, I'd obviously created one as I have no problem doing that at all.

For example: I do have this sculpt I made almost 2 years ago (attached below), and the name of this character is Yumeno Tsukimi. It's a non-original concept, but I'm the only one who's turned it into a 3D model, so can we call it an original 3d work? I don't think so. But it would have been a valid entry for the competition nonetheless. I simply wanted to use the one that OKKU made and that's all.

Hello there, I have spent a considerable amount of time trying to verify your work. However, it appears that you have simply copied an image from a YouTube video. The similarities between the two are 100%, which is highly unlikely to occur naturally. I will refrain from taking any action, and instead, I will leave it up to the community to decide how to proceed.
